Poliça, Minneapolis’ sensational alternative rock and synth-pop artists, are bringing you their signature sounds as they tour venues across the world.
The band was formed in 2011 with Channy Leaneagh on vocals/synthesizer and with Ryan Olson producing. The pair later recruited Chris Bierden (bass/vocals) along with drummers Drew Christopherson and Ben Ivascu to complete the group. They wanted a unique name and Channy got the idea when her computer crashed and one of her files had been renamed to Poliça. The band has released 3 studio albums, 1 EP, multiple singles and has toured with renowned indie folk band, Bon Iver.
